Welcome to AVASpanish! By using our Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By creating an account or using www.avaspanish.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform.
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
AVASpanish Quest Portal is a gamified Spanish learning platform within AVASpanish offering:
- Grammar exercises and lessons
- Progress tracking and levelling system
- Leaderboards and competitions
- Virtual currency (XP and Gold)
- In-platform shop with power-up items and a dictionary to fill
3. USER ACCOUNTS
Eligibility:
- You must be 13+ years old
- If under 18, you must have parental consent
- One account per person
Account Security:
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure
- Do not share your account with others
- Notify us immediately if your account is compromised
Account Termination:
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations
- You may delete your account at any time
4. USER CONDUCT
You agree NOT to:
- Cheat, hack, or manipulate the XP/Gold system
- Use bots or automated tools
- Harass other users
- Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage
- Share inappropriate content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer our Platform
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on AVASpanish is owned by AVASpanish or its licensors:
- Exercises, lessons, and educational content
- Graphics, design, and user interface
- Game mechanics and systems
- "AVASpanish" name and logo
You may NOT:
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content
- Create derivative works without permission
- Use our content for commercial purposes
6. USER-GENERATED CONTENT
Your nickname and leaderboard data may be visible to other users.
By using the Platform, you grant us the right to display your nickname and scores publicly.
7. LEADERBOARDS AND COMPETITION
Leaderboards are for fun and motivation.
Rankings may change based on:
- New users joining
- XP resets or adjustments
- Detection of cheating
We reserve the right to remove users from leaderboards for violations.
8. VIRTUAL CURRENCY (XP & GOLD)
XP and Gold have NO real-world monetary value.
They cannot be:
- Exchanged for real money
- Transferred between accounts
- Refunded or redeemed
We may adjust XP/Gold values to balance the Platform.
9. CHANGES TO THE PLATFORM
We may:
- Add, remove, or modify features at any time
- Adjust XP/Gold rewards
- Update exercises and content
- Temporarily suspend the Platform for maintenance
We will notify users of major changes when possible.
10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
AVASpanish is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.
We do NOT guarantee:
- Uninterrupted access
- Error-free operation
- Specific learning outcomes
- Passing grades in exams
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
AVASpanish is NOT liable for:
- Lost data or progress
- Exam performance (GCSE, A-Level, etc.)
- Technical issues or downtime
- Any indirect or consequential damages
Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.
12. FUTURE MONETIZATION
Currently, AVASpanish is free to use.
If we introduce paid features in the future:
- Free core features will remain free
- Pricing will be clearly communicated
- Existing users may receive special offers
13. REFUND POLICY (Future)
For any future paid features:
- Digital products are non-refundable once accessed
- Subscriptions may be cancelled anytime
- No refunds for partial months
14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be resolved in UK courts.
